A successful meetup with Åsa Vagland yesterday!

Yesterday we held a meetup with Åsa Vagland, inquiry chair at the Ministry of Enterprise. As mentioned before, her assignment is to carry out an inquiry into the ticketing system of the future.

A frequently recurring point during the evening was that the quality of the data from the transport companies needs to improve. Data quality must be raised considerably to even have the conditions to build high-quality apps.

Åsa felt she received a lot of good input from the participants:

– My vision is not a technical solution but to create the right conditions. In the end it is the market that should deliver the solutions, and so it is extremely important and rewarding to meet the developers of the future. I have gained a much better understanding of the requirements and needs that developers have.

The evening ended with wraps, drinks and above all mingling.

– It was a successful evening that clearly showed that the public transport industry benefits from collaborating with external actors, says Elias Arnestrand, service manager for Trafiklab.
