ElectriCity Innovation Challenge 2015
August 20, 2015
ElectriCity Innovation Challenge 2015 is an open innovation competition held in Gothenburg, starting on 18 September with the final on 21 October 2015. The aim is to create innovations that can help make tomorrow’s bus journeys more attractive.
The goal is to produce viable prototypes that can be exhibited and tested live on ElectriCity after the competition - anything from apps to new bus stop designs is of interest. Competing teams will have access to real-time data from buses and stops via a newly developed REST API that gathers information from Volvo, Västtrafik, Keolis and Icomera. In addition, a library of information about public transport, ElectriCity, stops and buses will also be made available. The competition also offers expert help and methodological support through so-called concept huts and development workshops.
ElectriCity Innovation Challenge 2015 is therefore an excellent opportunity for those who want to learn more about innovation processes, help shape the travel of tomorrow, realise an idea, meet other innovators, showcase themselves to potential employers and stakeholders, or just have a lot of fun. The competition is aimed at both students and professionals from all kinds of industries.
Register your team by 11 September at the latest.
