Trafiklab Hero 2016

The 2016 Trafiklab Hero is Mattias Jägerskog, founder of Skjutsgruppen. The jury’s citation:

Through strong voluntary commitment and incredible drive, Mattias Jägerskog has initiated the Skjutsgruppen movement, which today engages close to 70,000 people.
The national service facilitates various forms of ride-sharing and in this way shows the way towards new ways of offering combined mobility through more efficient use of existing resources. By using open APIs from Trafiklab, Skjutsgruppen has managed to create a service that combines new forms of ride-sharing with traditional public transport.
Through his commitment, Mattias has championed new ways of looking at mobility, the sharing economy and how open data is a central component in this work.
